What We Collect

MergeVault processes PDFs entirely in your browser using WebAssembly and JavaScript. Your files are never uploaded to our servers.

We do not collect, store, or transmit your PDF content, file names, or personal documents. All processing happens locally on your device.

Local Storage

We use your browser’s localStorage to track daily download counts and premium status. This data stays on your device and is not sent to any server. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Google AdSense Advertising

MergeVault uses Google AdSense to serve ads on free-tier pages. Google may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to collect information about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you.

Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to MergeVault and/or other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.

Third-Party Services

We use Google AdSense (Google LLC) for advertising. For premium subscriptions, we use Stripe, Inc. for payment processing. Stripe receives only the information necessary to process your payment. We do not store your payment details.

No Tracking

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or other third-party analytics trackers. We do not build advertising profiles from your PDF content.

Children’s Privacy

MergeVault is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
